The South Coast Striders will meet in front of the Coquille Chamber at 9:15 A.M. to caravan out to Cherry Creek for a hike on Saturday July 12th.

Coos County Fair & Rodeo July 22nd Through 26th, 2008 in Myrtle Point

The Rodeo is July 25th and 26th at 7:00 P.M.
The Kids Events Start at 6:30 P.M.

The Rodeo is Free with Fair Admission

Senior Meals each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Coquille Community Building

Growin' Yer Grub Summer Day camp will be held in Coquille on August 4-7 and in Coos Bay/North Bend August 18-21. The day camp is a combined effort between the Coos County OSU Master Gardeners, the Coos County OSU Family Food Educators and 4-H. The camp will teach children how to grow their own food and what to do with it after they grow it. The participants will be given the opportunity to learn about plants, insects, ecology, cooking, nutrition and food safety.

Registration packets are available at the Chamber office now.

The 15th Annual Festival of The Arts on the boardwalk at Port of Brookings Harbor, Or. Saturday Sunday August 16th & 17th.

Weekly Events

Coquille Farmer's Market
Open every Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm outside the Community Building, 115 N. Birch. Featuring fresh organic grown produce plus many other products as well as a great barbecue. For more information call Don at 541-396-1420.

Senior Meals
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Coquille Community Building, lunch is served. Salads are served at 11:30 in the morning and meals are served at Noon.

Coquille Chamber of Commerce Meeting
The general membership meeting is on the third Tuesday of each month at Frazier's Bakery in downtown Coquille at Noon.
